Our factory has an existing Local Area Network based on Hub's.
We Have been decided to relocate our old building to a new one.
The new building will be connected to existing building and another 3 factories and our warehouse via leased line.
Our data centre will be located at the new factory building and will be based on 4 servers ( Active Directory, Application, Mail and Backup servers ).
The WAN connectivity are Lease Line Based.
The existing WAN Routers are 10 Mbps Ethernet and the main router carrying the internet and V.35 connectivity to one of the factory. |

The new network infrastructure must support 10/100/1000 Mbps
The new Edge Switches must support high performance backplane and Resilience link.
The Two Distribution Backbones must support Non-Blocking and automatic Load balancing.
The Distribution Backbones must be single management and automatic redundancy.
There should be no single point of failure in the design.
The server farm remains accessible at all times and support 10/100/1000 Mbps.
The Design must support VLAN contain broadcast traffic and allow the network to scale.
The number of users on the network is expected to increase by 30% in the future.
The external security will be needed to be recover via firewall device to protect our LAN/WAN from outsider also to prevent some internal users from sending specific extension files via email. |
